We are really looking forward to meeting on Sunday 1st January 2023 to begin a New Year together.
We will be meeting at 10:00am when our speaker will be Ian Winter who will be looking at how we put Jesus at the Centre of our lives.
There isn’t any Energize or Ignite for our children or young people this week.
This service will be an in-person only service and there will be no evening service on 1st January.
Advanced notice: From the 8th January 2023 we will be restarting two Sunday morning services one at 9:15am and one at 11:00am. Energize and Ignite will be available at both services.
Carols by Candlelight is highlight for many and it’s this Sunday. Join us for refreshments from 5:30pm, we’ll be starting at 6:30pm. We are expecting to be full for this one, so please come early and we’ll get you seated.
Before that though join us at 10am on Sunday morning when we will be continuing our Advent series, ‘Peace on Earth?’. Ian Winter will be speaking on ‘Peace in a War-Torn World’ and the Bible reading is Luke 2:9-16.

Please join us for our traditional carol service, ‘Carols by Candlelight’ on Sunday evening. Refreshments will be served from 5:30pm prior to the service starting at 6:30pm.
We are really looking forward to Sunday. This week it’s our Breakfast at Bethlehem Nativity Service at 10:00am and our Alternative Carol Service at 6:30pm. These are both highlights of our Christmas.
At 10am, our children will be telling the story of Christmas. All (young and older!) are welcome to come dressed up as nativity characters. Please come early as a light breakfast will be served from 9:30am.

At 6:30pm it’s our Alternative Carol Service which will be a creative and contemporary service with refreshments served afterwards.
Join us this Sunday morning at 10am as we start our Advent Sunday series – ‘Peace on Earth?’
Louise Hoyle will be our speaker and the title of the message is ‘Peace in the Midst of Christmas Chaos’. The Bible readings are Luke 10: 38-42 (NIVUK) and Isaiah 9:6 (NIVUK). We will be sharing in Communion together during the service.

‘A Journey to Peace’ will be the focus of our evening service at 6:30pm. It will be a reflective evening with a testimony shared, and the service will be based on Psalm 23.
We are really looking forward to hearing from a guest speaker this coming Sunday – John Townley who is the National Free Methodist Church Leader. He will be speaking on the title – ‘Resurrection Hope Shouts Louder’.

In our service at 6:30pm, Ian Clarkson will be taking us through the first session of Alpha. Although the content of Alpha remains unchanged, the way it is presented has changed somewhat over the years, and this is a good opportunity to sample a flavour of what happens now.
This Sunday, we will be continuing with the Sunday message series, ‘Invested’. Our speaker at the 10am service will be Dan Feeny; the message title is ‘Invested – Sowing, Reaping and Reciprocity’ and the Bible reading is 2 Corinthians 9:6-15.
