Our Vision Statement:
We exist to:
Celebrate God’s Kingdom by reaching people with His message, establishing them as members in His family, equipping them to Christ-like maturity, and deploying them for ministry and mission in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Celebrate
‘From them will proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who celebrate. And I will multiply them and they will not be diminished; I will also honour them and they will not be insignificant.” Jeremiah 30:19
“O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.” Psalm 34:3 (RSV)
“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the Lord’s house.’” Psalm 122:1 (GN)
“…let us eat and celebrate. For this my son was dead, and is alive again.” Luke 15:23-24
The Kingdom of God is a party: “And Jesus answered and spoke to them again in parables, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king, who gave a wedding party for his son…’” Matthew 22:1-2
“For the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17
Reach
“He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters.” Psalm 18:16, (NLT)
“So, reach out and welcome one another to God’s glory. Jesus did it; now you do it! Jesus, staying true to God’s purposes, reached out in a special way to the Jewish insiders so that the old ancestral promises would come true for them.” Romans 15:7-8 (MSG)
“Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.” Matthew 8:3 (NIV)
“So that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world as you hold out the word of life, in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you…” Philippians 2: 15-17
“The most important thing is that I complete my mission – the work the Lord gave me to do – to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.” Acts 20:24 (NCV)
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NIV)
“You will be my witnesses in …” Acts 1:8 (NIV)
Establish
“And so were the churches established in the faith and increased in number daily.” Acts 16:5
“You are a member of God’s very own family and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19 (LB)
“because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,” Philippians 1:5
“And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever… and let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts [is] the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee.” 2 Samuel 7:16, 26
“He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, [and] established my goings.” Psalms 40:2
“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.” Isaiah 54:14
“In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:5
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. Psalm 92:12
Equip
“to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, to a position of strength and maturity” Ephesians 4:12 (LB)
“…so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:17 (NIV)
“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with every good thing to do His will. And may He accomplish in us what is pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21 (BSB)
