This coming Sunday will be a Welcome and Induction Service for our new Senior Pastor, Ian Winter. Please come to support and celebrate with Ian, Sarah and the family at this special service.
John Townley, National Leader for FMC UK & Ireland, will be speaking.
The service will be both in-person and live streamed. The YouTube link is at the end of this post.
At 10am our children meet as follows: Sparks for pre-school children aged 2-4 in the Prayer Chapel. Energize for children in Reception to year 6 in Oak. Ignite for young people in years 7-11 in Cypress.
A creche area is available in the coffee lounge for parents/carers with children under the age of 2.
Sunday evening at 6:30pm continues our welcome day for the Winter family with a ‘meet the family’ time giving us an opportunity to learn a bit more about Sarah and the children.
Join us on Easter Sunday as we celebrate “Christ is Risen!”
We begin Easter Sunday with a short Communion service at 8:30am.
Our 10am service will be an all-age service. The speaker will be Ian Winter and the title of the message is, ‘Surrender – When Life Feels Out of Control’. The Bible reading is Matthew 26:36-46.
As this service is often busy, there will be an overflow if needed into Oak room. We will also have some socially-distanced seats available in Cypress room at the back of the building and stream the service into there. These socially-distanced seats do not need booking.
The service will be both in-person and live streamed. The link to view is at the end of this post.
A creche area is available in the coffee lounge for parents/carers with children under the age of 2. Parents will need to stay with their child though as this is not staffed.
Ian Clarkson will be our speaker at the 6:30pm service. The title of Ian’s message is ‘Dead or Alive?!’ and the Bible reading is Romans 6:1-14.
Join us this coming Sunday as we celebrate Advent and Christmas together.
This coming Sunday is our All Age Nativity at 10:00am featuring the children from Energize which is always a wonderful time. Come dressed as a character from the Nativity. We will be providing a small breakfast.
On Sunday evening at 6:30pm it will be The Alternative Carol Service, with carols old and new. You’ll need to book in for this one, but they are free: Alternative Carol Service (12-Dec-2021)
For both of our services, this week, socially distanced seats will only be available in Oak where we will be showing a live broadcast of the service.
This means that we won’t have a live streamed service this week, please do look out for the Nativity from children of Emmanual Home in Sierra Leone which we will be publishing on Sunday around 12:00 on the link below.
In line with legal requirements the wearing of masks will be required.
Join us as we continue our Advent journey towards Christmas.
This Sunday you have two opportunities to meet together:
At 10:00am we will be in-person and online. No need to book, just come along, unless you want socially distanced seating. We will be beginning a new theme – “Joy to the World…?” – and our speaker is Dave Sewell. Sparks, Energize and Ignite will also be running for the children and young people. The YouTube link is below.
At 6:30pm we are meeting in-person and continuing the “Joy to the World…?” theme with Ian Higginbotham
Jesus uses his last week of freedom to bring some big reminders of what he has being saying for the last three years. He focuses on the crucially important and urgent as he presses home the key messages of salvation at the conclusion of his public ministry. This week we start a mini-series looking at the HEADLINES of those last few days.
Join us at 10:00am online and in-person when our speaker is Dan Feeny or at 6:30pm, in-person, when Rebecca Parkinson will be our speaker.
Our Bible readings for this weekend are: Matthew 24:31-46, part of Matthew 23, 1 Samuel 16:7, 1 Samuel 22:1-2
