“Fulwood Scattered Gathering” with Bishop Keith Cowart

This morning we gathered together on YouTube and were joined by our new bishop, Keith Cowart who talked to us about the words from 2 Corinthians 4:7-12 where we are told that we have “treasure in jars of clay”.

We are collecting as many pictures as we can, of you!

Photograph yourself, on your own, or with your household, holding a piece of paper or card with the words “We Are Church” clearly visible and send them in to suec@fulwoodfmc.net or send them to Sue via social media. The pictures need to be with us by Thursday.

Book Review

Please find below a couple of book reviews from the Christian Resources Centre in Preston. You can still order from them via email on cbcpreston@aol.com which is now the only way to get in touch with the Christian Resource Centre, the shop is closed as per the Government guidelines. Some of their suppliers have closed so they are limited to what they can source but they have a few of each of these in stock.

Pete Greig has been teaching on prayer – and leading a non-stop prayer movement – for twenty years. Now, for the first time, he puts his life’s work into a simple book written for everybody – an answer to the question everyone ultimately asks: how do I pray? This down-to-earth introduction to prayer will guide you deeper in your relationship with God – making you more centred, more aware of God’s voice, more likely to see breakthroughs and more able to make sense of your unanswered prayers, too. It’s full of honest, hard-won wisdom interspersed with real-life stories – some humorous, others moving – to equip and inspire your prayer life. From one of today’s most gifted and visionary communicators, for those who’ve been praying for years as well as those who want to pray but don’t know where to begin, How to Pray is the simple, inspiring guide you’ve been waiting for.

‘Braveheart Worship’ is the new worship expression from the best-selling artist and author, Sheila Walsh. The songs on ‘Braveheart Worship’ all have a signature worship style, with a Celtic flavour. They are very melodic in nature and take the listener on a wonderful worship journey, starting with the anthem “A Thousand Hallelujah’s,” through to the newly inspired version of “It Is Well,” which is a duet with SIR CLIFF RICHARDS. Sir Cliff, one of the top selling artists of all time with sales of over 300 million albums, has produced a couple of Sheila’s previous albums and has been a great friend to Sheila over the years. Sheila has most recently authored many top selling books, including Praying Women.
