The Christian minority in Egypt were subject to a wave of sectarian attacks in August 2013.
This resulted in the destruction of many churches. The Amir Tadros Shotbi Church in Minia was one of those targeted.

As we progressively move our way through Advent I thought we’d also do the same with It’s Friday.
This week we have a beautiful rendition of a classic carol written around 1850 using words that are much older. The original words were penned by a monk somewhere in Europe around 800 AD.
