Harvest 2022 – Weird Wedding | Ian Winter | Sunday 16th October 2022 @10:00am and 6:30pm

This Sunday, we will be celebrating Harvest. Our speaker at the 10am service will be Ian Winter; the message title is ‘Weird Wedding’ and the Bible reading is John 2: 2-11.

During the first songs of our morning service the children will be bringing their Harvest gifts to the front of church. To comply with our child protection policy the live stream will just feature a still visual slide at this point.

The 10:00am service will be both in-person and live streamed. The link is at the end of this post.

At 10am our children meet as follows:

  • Sparks for pre-school children aged 2-4 in the Prayer Chapel.
  • Energize for children in Reception to year 6 in Oak.
  • Ignite for young people in years 7-11 in Cypress.
  • A creche area is available in the coffee lounge for parents/carers with children under the age of 2.

We are really looking forward to seeing many of you as we join together on Sunday.

This week we are beginning a new series – Devoted – looking at Acts 2:42-47.

Join us at 6:30pm on Sunday when we will be looking in more detail about what being devoted means. The evening service will take the form of a discussion between Ian Clarkson, Ian Winter and Sarah Winter, and also include worship, prayer and a time of response.

Our speaker at 10:00am will be Ian Winter, who will be speaking on ‘The Leader Within’. The Bible reading is Romans 8:14-17.

At 6:30pm our speaker will be Louise Hoyle. Louise’s message is titled, ‘A Better Way!…’ and is based on Proverbs 16:9 (NLT), with a second reading from Psalm 139:13-18 (The Message). Louise will be looking at how we are loved and wonderfully made by God on purpose for purpose. We each have a custom-built role only we can fill. Let’s fulfil our God-given plan and purpose as we put our trust in Him.
