Sunday 13th February 2022 @ 10:00am and 6:30pm | In-person and Online
Join us as we meet together to worship at 10am on Sunday 13th February. Ian Higginbotham will be our speaker; the title of the message is, ‘There’s Nothing Like a Plan – Keys to Overcoming Temptation’ – 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 and Hebrews 2:14-18.
The service will be both in-person and live streamed (link below).
At 10am our children meet as follows:
- Sparks for pre-school children aged 2-4 in the Prayer Chapel
- Energize for children in Reception to school year 6 in Oak
- Ignite for young people in school years 7-11 in Cypress
A creche area is available in the coffee lounge for parents/carers with children under the age of 2. Parents will need to stay with their child though as this is not staffed.
On Sunday evening at 6:30pm, Rebecca Parkinson will be speaking on ‘Being Held’ – Hebrews 10: 19-25.
Refreshments will be served after both services.

At 10:00am this week our speaker is Ian Clarkson who’s title is “Dedication Is What You Need” and will be looking at Mark 10:13-16 & Ephesians 6:1-4. This will also be our livestream service this week – link at the bottom of this post.
Our meetings for children and young people will also be taking place:
- Sparks for pre-school children aged 2-4
- Energize for children in Reception to school year 6
- Ignite for young people in school years 7-11
At 6:30pm our speaker is Dan Feeny who will be speak on “Boundless Grace” looking at Galatians 3:23-29.
We’re going to be doing something a little different this coming Sunday evening as we go on a journey round the world, following the spread of Christianity. Is Christianity a Western idea that can be put into a box, or is Jesus really for everyone for all time? Let’s find out!
We’ll also be sharing in communion on Sunday evening.
Refreshment have returned this week, serving tea and coffee after both the morning and evening services.

At 6:30pm we will be having the second of our Meet the Pastor evenings with Ian Winter. We were hoping to have Ian’s family with us this week, but that hasn’t been possible.

This week we will be meeting at 10:00am in-person. Dave Sewell will be our speaker this week and is looking at Luke 10:38-42 and 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. You can also, if you prefer, join us online via the link below.
There isn’t any Ignite or Energize this week for the children or young people.
We have something a little different at 6:30pm when you will have an opportunity to “Meet the Pastor”. This Sunday 16 January will be a conversation between Ian Winter and Dave Brown where we will find more about Ian, his background, experience to date and thoughts about his future with FFMC. There will be times of worship and prayer at both meetings, however there will not be a message.
Sunday 19th December 2021 | Carols by Candlelight
Join us as we continue our Advent Celebrations.
This Sunday you have the opportunity to join us in-person and online at both our 10:00am and our 6:30pm services.
At 10:00am we are continuing our Joy to the World…? series with Ian Clarkson. The children and young people will be meeting in Sparks, Energize and Ignite. You only need to sign-up for this one if you want a socially distanced seat.
At 6:30pm, following on from our wonderful Alternative Carol Service last week, this week it’s Carols by Candlelight. A service of readings and carols. You do need to book, which you can do via this link: Carols by Candlelight (19-Dec-2021) · ChurchSuite Events. Socially distanced seats for this will be available in Oak.

In line with current legislation masks are required at all our services.
Sunday 12th December 2021
Join us this coming Sunday as we celebrate Advent and Christmas together.
This coming Sunday is our All Age Nativity at 10:00am featuring the children from Energize which is always a wonderful time. Come dressed as a character from the Nativity. We will be providing a small breakfast.
On Sunday evening at 6:30pm it will be The Alternative Carol Service, with carols old and new. You’ll need to book in for this one, but they are free: Alternative Carol Service (12-Dec-2021)
For both of our services, this week, socially distanced seats will only be available in Oak where we will be showing a live broadcast of the service.
This means that we won’t have a live streamed service this week, please do look out for the Nativity from children of Emmanual Home in Sierra Leone which we will be publishing on Sunday around 12:00 on the link below.
In line with legal requirements the wearing of masks will be required.

Join us as we continue our Advent journey towards Christmas.
This Sunday you have two opportunities to meet together:
At 10:00am we will be in-person and online. No need to book, just come along, unless you want socially distanced seating. We will be beginning a new theme – “Joy to the World…?” – and our speaker is Dave Sewell. Sparks, Energize and Ignite will also be running for the children and young people.
