Deeper Knowledge – The Gnasty Gnostics | 1 John 3 | Ian Higginbotham

Ian Higginbotham continues our Go Deeper series which is looking at the letter –  1 John.

In this message Ian is looking at 1 John 3.

If we are to go deeper in our faith in Christ, we should not ignore the fact that false teaching was present in the early church and continues through to the present day. John tackled the “Gnasty Gnostics”, who believed that understanding of God came from some sort of mystical and private spiritual knowledge which was on a different level to ordinary day to day life. Their teaching had huge significance, and wrecked people’s walk with Jesus.

Deeper Walk | 1 John 2 | Jason Buckler

Jason Buckler continues our Go Deeper series which is looking at the letter –  1 John.

In this message Jason is looking at 1 John 2, specifically 1 John 2:3-6 where it says:

We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, ‘I know him,’ but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
