TITUS Chapter 3 – “Changed to do good, devoted to doing good” | Dan Feeny

Dan Feeny concludes our series looking at Paul’s letter to Titus by looking at Titus 3.

We are reminded who we were before knowing Christ (Titus 3:3) and then comes the brilliant “but” of Titus 3:4.

We can celebrate the “kindness and love of God” (Titus 3:4) in Jesus Christ and we are part of his ancient (but on-going) story. Through all of the instruction we can join Paul in his real heartbeat here. So what is our purpose? Paul says these things to Titus so that they and we “may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good”.

Set Free to be a Son | Romans 8 | Andrew Gardner

Andrew Gardner continues our Freedom series looking at Romans 8.

What would it feel like to benefit from someone’s will? If you are the heir, you get what is passed down to you. Every Christian is an heir of their Father God. God’s will is that anyone ‘in Christ Jesus’ should not be condemned for sin, but set free. We’ll look at what Romans 8 says about being set free by the ‘law of the Spirit.’

One Body Many Parts | 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 | Ian Clarkson

Ian Clarkson considers what it means to be one body with many parts looking at 1 Corinthians 12:12-27.

This talk was given at a gathering lead by the young people of FFMC which included a dramatic reading of 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, sadly we’ve not been able to include the reading because a number of the readers did not have microphones, so can’t be heard.

Eclipsing the Son | Mark 9:2-8 and Revelation 1:9-18 | Robert Walsh

Robert Walsh considers the words of Mark 9:2-8 and Revelation 1:9-18 inspired by a recent visit to America to observe a total solar eclipse:

His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

Revelation 1:16

Below are the images that Robert used for his talk and the answers to the questions:
