LETTERS TO MY YOUNGER SELF
STUDIES IN THE LETTERS OF PETER – MORNINGS UNTIL 5TH MARCH

Peter was in Rome and in his middle 60’s shortly before his death, when he wrote his letters to Christians in what we now know as Turkey – they are his epitaph. Most people of Peter’s age start looking back at their lives, and the lessons they have learned. Peter is no different. The Holy Spirit inspired Peter to look back on his life and pen some of the wisdom he had gleaned from his
earlier experiences, (some of which he may have wished he’d learnt earlier), for the benefit of the church. It’s as relevant today as it was then.

BY INVITATION… – EVENINGS UNTIL 5TH MARCH

The Church is not simply a place of worship. It is God’s People, out there living in a way that encourages ordinary folk to have life-changing meetings with our extraordinary God – finding friendship, faith, forgiveness and purpose. We are all called to play our part in this. In this 8 week series we will be searching out Bible principles to help us and also hearing from real people whose lives have been changed.

WORDS OF THE CROSS – MORNINGS & EVENINGS 19TH MARCH – EASTER

How do we begin to understand the cross of Christ?

What did it mean to Jesus? How did the early Christians understand it and speak about it?

Why did they use some big words to explain it?

In this Lent series we will look at some of the important words and picture use from the Old and New Testaments to understand the cross of Jesus and all it means in history, in our lives and in eternity.
