I wanted to affirm what you said in this sermon. It is so important that we don’t move away from the imperative of the crucifixion and the resurrection. Without them our faith is meaningless, with them we have a living, loving, holy Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It’s so easy as we go on our Christian journey to forget what it felt like not to know Jesus. We need to remember, to some extent, what it is like not know Jesus in order for us to understand that people are in mortal danger without Him.
